The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) recently said that they are recruiting. They need 63 assistant executive engineers. These posts are in Group A (Civil). They are under the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department. This department is part of the Odisha government.

AEE Vacancy Details
The Engineering Group under Panchayati Raj uses the Level 12 pay guidelines defined by the ORSP Rules 2017. Their pay range is generally between Rs 15,600 and Rs 39,100. In addition, they get a grade pay of Rs 5,400, a dearness allowance, and other allowances.
As per the notification, OPSC has classified the number of vacancies based on categories as follows:

Eligibility for the OPSC AEE Recruitment
Age Limit
- If you fall in the General/UR category, take note – the age criteria is between 21 to 38 years as on January 1, 2024. But, there is some good news for our SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen friends! You get a relaxation of 4 years.
- So, if your age is between 21 to 43 years, you can go ahead. Now, for our disabled friends, the scenario is a little different. There is talk of a relaxation of 10 years, which means your limit is 21 to 48 years.
- If you are a Divyang coming from SC/ST/SEBC, you get a relaxation of 15 years. So, for you, the age criteria is 21 to 53 years.
Educational Qualification
- An individual needs a Civil Engineering degree from any Indian University. Alternatively, they could be part of India’s Institution of Engineers, specifically in Civil.
- Fluency in Odia is necessary, this includes reading, writing, and speaking. Odia should have been a studied subject, and the candidate should have passed it in all school-related qualifications.
Documents need to be attached to the OPSC AEE Application
- Passing certificate of Class 10th and 12th board.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Mark lists of all subject-wise semesters and annual examinations
- Caste certificate of the candidate’s caste they are claiming.
- Disability Certificate of candidate
- The Sports Identity Card of the candidate
- Odia Test Pass Certificate from Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
- Ex-servicemen need to show their Release Certificate issued as per Odisha Ex-servicemen Rules 1985.
Steps to apply for the online AEE Vacancy
- Firstly you go to the official website of the OPSC. https://opsc.gov.in/.
- Navigate to the section of the website.
- Click on the available application link and enter the required details carefully.
- Candidates Upload the scanned images of the photo, signature, and the Left-hand thumb impression.
- Submit the application form after properly reviewing it.
- After the successful submission of the application, the candidate will receive a unique PPSAN (Permanent Public Service Commission).
- Download the registration form for future purposes.
